2020 and beyond
Although COVID-19 did its best to scupper our dreams, 2020 was the year that we finally decided to give our tea garden idea a go after 30 years in the planning! This meant a lot of digging and bramble bashing to see the light of day.
1980s
In the 1980s the location of our tea garden hardly had a tree in it, due to the fact that 'Little Nanny' kept goats in it.

The name 'Little Nannys' derives from the moniker that our children gave to their grandma when they were young and seeing as she's about 5' 2'' tall it's probably easy to see why.

As it was originally her dream to create such a place, it seemed like the best idea to name it after her.
1960s
Believe it or not, over 50 years ago the location of Little Nanny's was actually beautiful gardens and tennis courts, which is why many people in the local area refer to it as 'the tennis courts'.

Unfortunately we only have a few pictures of what it was like back then, so if anybody could send us additional photos we would love to include them in this section of our web site.
